I'm looking for info on my lost family.it was a long time ago my family think it was over 100yrs. So we arnt sure if there are even any records. I do know my last name was meant to be HALL but now its SLOAN(slone) the spelling was changed somewhere along the line, so its confusing.if anyone out there can tell me where to start looking it would mean a lot to me. There are a ton of genealogy sites on the web. There are also some programs that you can buy and install that will help you in your search. Also you might do a web search for the genealogy site run by the Mormon church. It is one of the biggest in the world at this time
