Ran oil of oil, restarted unit, it came on and then just shut down. I can't get it to come back on to even blead the line. It is like it has no power, I have hit the reset but nothing happens, and when it is tripped the light doesn't even come on on the control (Honeywell) with 45 second delay. What should I check?

Power off the circuit to the burner. Wait a few minutes and see if the safety control will reset.

Also post the exact part number of the safety control.

Here is the diagram for your Honeywell control. Nothing out of the ordinary here. Standard 45 second time delay only. If you have pushed the reset to many times it is possible the safety switch is defective and will not allow reactivation.

If there is 120 volt power to the cad cell primary control and the ff and tt terminals are connected properly the control should operate. On thing you can try is to jumo the tt terminals together to jump the thermostat control out. If it starts then the thermostat is defective. If not you might be looking at a control replacement. DO NOT jump the FF terminals under any circumstance. This can damage the control and cause a possible unsafe operation condition.

My suggestion for you is to Call for ON SITE service from a oil burner professional. Many items can cause the problem you are having and you do not want to fill the combustion chamber up with oil by trying to reset the unit when it will not fire off. Too much oil in the chamber during light off can cause a very dangerous situation.

I mentioned the above since you are totally unaware of how this burner operates and the situation could prove dangerous.
