When my kids were little (late 80's), we used to watch children's Halloween movie - can only remember a boy riding a bike and trying to "save" his family's business at the end(could it be a candy factory?) We specifically remember a scene of a kid trying to skip a stone in a lake that's muddy (mostly dried up). Don't know if it was a TV movie or what - we had it on VHS tape, but haven't seen it in many years. Want to say the factory was on a mountain with a lake around it/lake necessary for factory.! Does anyone have a CLUE? Sorry, not much to go on... :confused:

I found a site with a posting from a user saying it is called Mission from Mars. In the post they mention everything you've mentioned and a few more details. I can't find head nor tales of information for this movie though, sorry.
