My air handler is always leaking water. What is the solution? It is a 2-1/2 ton Trane air/heat unit 15 years old it cools, and heats fine, but continues leaking water. We had a technician supposedly repair it, but in less than a month the condition returned. Is there something I can do to eliminate this problem?

I would cannthe technician back and tell him to fix the problem correctly. I doupt if you can do more than a trained technician in this case since they may have to take the coil cabinet apart to locate the leak or use a pressure source and cleaner to clean the coil, pan assemby, and drain line.
Your pan could also be rusted through and that might not be able to be fixed so you might have to buy a coil. With the unit being 15 years old I do not think a coil pan will be available.
