Let's see if I can help. As a rule sink clogs will be found in the horzizontal drain line in the wall. To best clear this you must remove the "J" bend from the trap nand sen a snake up into the wall, (see image). You will hit a bend about 8 inches in but once around that you will only have to put out 6 more feet of snake. Reassemble the trap and flush with a sink full of hot water. Good luck, Tom
