Bring him to a vet ASAP. Blood in the stool is never a good sign. He could have the deadly disease parvo, or perhaps coccidia, or hookworms (some dewormers don't cover ALL types) ,and only the vet can tell and possibly save his life if it is in fact very serious.

I thank you for your reply I have looked into this and it seems there are always some blood with diorea because of the parasites that are being flushed from his system since his worming tablet 4 days ago. He is being starved today for 24 hours due to the diorea and give his stomach time to settle and then I will see how he is tomorrow I have had many dogs in the past and some of them have had blood and diaorea due to the worming tablet I just have not had a westie before if he improvs tomorrow I will then put him on boiled rice once again thank you

I meant to add he has had his parvo vaccainations and was checked over by the vet 4 days ago who informed me that he was a healthy pup it was just the blood in the diorea that had me worried for a while

It is very likely he has CPV or Canine Parvovirus. My little dog has it. Mine has CPV-2b.
Bring to a vet immediately. He could die. Mine hasn't fortunately but I'm crying everyday.
The problem here is that younger dogs have lower chances of living with CPV. Good Luck. Hope your pup gets well.
PS: Maybe regular vaccinations could help. Mine is getting them.

Apparently the blood is caused from his worms he has just had a worming tablet a few days ago and that is what has brought this on
