When trying to load a floppy disk I keep getting a message to format the floppy. I know I have information on this floppy. I have a external floppy drive hooked up to my Toshiba laptop. I never had this problem before. My desktop computer reads this floppy.

Is this the only floppy that does this in the ext. drive or do others give same message
