It's like a big red swollen spot by my pantyline.. very painful and itchy.. can't call doctor till Monday.. could it be serious?

Did you get bit by anything?

Not that I know of.. it doesn't seem to have a center or bite mark.

Hmm... I was asking because there's a particular bug that I'm allergic too and every time I get bit that's what it looks like. Is there a walk-in clinic you could go to? I would look into that because even if it's not serious you can start to feel better sooner than you would if you wait till Monday. It's got to be uncomfortable in that location.

Do you shave? Could it be an ingrown hair?

Its actually a pretty big spot. No it doesn't seem to be an ingrown hair
