You basically can't. Sorry to be abrupt, but that's the answer.

You can actually. Meet all your requirements for fines and classes or therapy, or treatment, whatever they required you to complete and once all of those things are complete, then you can use your lawyer to write letter to your PO and/or judge. Just don't expect it to work if you have failed any drug screens or, if you have violated or, have missed any of your check ins with them. But if you have complied and been a super citizen then normally your request is honored. It also depends on what you were charged with and why you were put on probation. I have 3 years for DWI in NYS and my lawyer says that if I comply and pass my drug screens and stay out of trouble, then once I'm done with my DDP, Victims impact, rehab, and paying my fines then we can go to the court and request to have my time cut in half. This happens for most all people I have spoken to that are or were on probation, and if you do everything that you should, you should get half the time.

You need to do at least half or 2/3 of your probation for starters.
