Hi, I hope someone can help me out.
I'm 19, on the pill, and I'm sexually active. I was supposed to start my period three days ago, but instead today all I noted was some brown discharge. Not really a flow, just brownish discharge when I wipe after using the toilet. I'm slightly worried about being pregnant. The last time my boy friend and I had sex was a few weeks ago when he was home from college. I was still using the pill, and he pulled out. Another aspect is I've had bronchitis for a little more than four weeks now. Also, just this past week my doctor put me some antibiotics for the coughing.
I was wondering if the emotional and physical stress of being in a long distance relationship, a bad cough, and recently (as in the last four days) being put on antibiotics would cause my period to be really late, and even then just this brownish discharge. Am I on my period? Should I see my doctor about this? I'm still going to take a urine-home pregnancy test. But some advice from someone would really be nice.
Thanks!
