Some time ago. I had gotten a yeast infetion. Soon after my boyfriend got some bumps on the head of his penis that look like little goosebumps. I was advised (by my gyn dr) that he could use the medication I used to treat my yeast infection. He seem to get better, however every time we have sex it irreates him afterward.

What could this be? Does he need antibiotics?

I've been cleared of STD.

Thanks!

How long has it been since you've seen your doctor and found out you were clear of stds? Have you ever had an abnormal pap?

Last time I was checked out was in August. And my last pap was normal.

I would have him get checked out. It could be that those little bumps are warts which can be related to hpv. All it takes in skin contact for you to get it. (that's if, in fact it is hpv). You never know though and it would be in both of your interests to get checked out.

Thanks for your advise.

I did get examed though and everything is negative. Not sure why this is happening. This started after I had gotten a yeast infection though. My boyfriend thinks I gave him an STD. (Because I cheated) But as I mentioned my result are negative. The little bumps don't look like they have pus or anything, but he feels discomfort after we have intercourse.?

Hmm... but you said it was back in August that you last went to the doctor? Have him checked out then.

Yes the "affair" happened back in June??
So confused.
Thank you again.

But you're sure if you were to go back to your doctor now that you wouldn't have an abnormal pap? You might want to double-check. I would to be on the safe side if the last time you were there was August. I'm seriously not trying to scare you but inform you that if you do have a normal pap back in August you could still have hpv. It's more common than people think. Here's a link for you to look at

You're welcome! Also, I don't know how old you are but there's a vaccine called gardasil. If you haven't gotten it and you're within the age range I would recommend it because it will reduce your risk of cervical cancer caused by hpv. Hopefully neither you or you boyfriend have it but if you do, it's best to catch it early.
