Hi

I am an Australian girl moving to LA and will be wanted to do bar work. I have 5 year's experience in top bar's in Sydney and the Gold Coast and will be living a 15 minute bike ride from Santa Monica beach.

2 Question's.

q
1 - What bar's/club's can be recommend where great money can be made in LA
2 - What is the public transport system like... can I get there and home by bus or train (keeping in mind the club's closing time)

If public transport won't work I need to be able to ride a bike there and back... doesn't have to be a short ride but not too long

Thank you

I lived in LA for over a year and the clubs there that you should tried out are area, mood, lax, all those clubs and maybe do some research online for bar's in the area. Try some restaurants since they got bars.

I don't think public transportation runs at 2am in the morning but I do know that taxis do run that late I believe. I would not ride your bike at night alone especially in los angeles with a bunch of weird people that come out at night.

The job market in los angeles is really hard right now so if you don't already got a job be prepared for the long haul. It is tough and if this is something you want bad enough you will need to stick it out. I wish I would have stuck it out, but I had more opportunities in my home state.

Thank you! It takes someone living in a city or state to know how it is really is there and it opened me up to how it is out there. It is very different obviously then visiting there. At any age, I am 19 years old it is tough especially at a young age when you are finding yourself in this world.

Do not take public Transportation. It will take forever and somewhat dirty. Unless you take the subway, which I usually take if I am going downtown during the day. I would not take it alone or at night.
