I am an Orthodox living in an Islamic country. My father passed away recently and left us a verbal will with two witnesses present.
The will was to divide all what my father owned of money and estate equally amongst his children and wife. That dissagrees with Islamic law.Can the Islamic law refuse to execute the will?

You piggybacked onto another question - no one will see your question and I asked that it be moved.

So we can answer your question better we really need to know more detail. Was your father in the same country as you or was he in another country ( resident ). Usually that's who's law takes precident. Was anything in writing ?
