Probably quite complicated this question, but it's doing my head in.

A few years ago I watched and enjoyed a film on Channel 4. The film ended on a cliff hanger- you know the type, where you know there must be a sequel.

It started with a group of strangers, one by one coming out of the sea on to a beach(I got the impression they may have died before arriving here) Anyway my memory is very sketchy on this film(And yes I know it sounds a bit like Lost- but it's not). The fim ended with the survivors or whaytever they were heading up rivere on a large wooden boat, but they were being watched from above by something.

That's all I can really remember. I wanted to watch the sequel but unfortuneately I forgot the name of the film and as years have gone by I have forgot most of the film too.

Can any one help.

Damn, good catch! I even watched that one, and I didn't get it from the poster's description.

The series of novels upon which that was based is MUCH better.
