If a capacitor is placed in a circuit and the circuit a provided some suitable voltage.
Ultimately the capacitor will get charged.
Now if one removes the sourse and touches the legs of the capacitor, WILL ONE GET SOME SHOCK OUT OF THAT

In High school we use to "Charge them, then throw to a "Friend". It would spark, Never seen any harm, just scares.

Depends on what voltage the cap is charged too. It makes quite a bit of difference if it's 10 V DC vs 400 VDC vs 1 KV DC. The strengh of the shock depends on the capacitance.
