Hey first hi and hope you can help. I've just bought a honda civic w-reg 1.5 vtec sport... been OK for the first two days, now it would,nt start I see a orange engine light come up and go out and I here clicking noises while still trying to start it then it dies out totally, with a lot of trying it has just started but am worried if I have my family in the car and get this problem again and it stays un started please help... thanx

It's likely you need to replace the Ignition Control Module and coil, provided the Check Engine Light comes on and goes off after 2 seconds, when the ignition switch is turned to ON:

Hey grease monkey thanks for your advice,I feel a fool cause the problem was more simple than I thought, you see I'm used to aveing the basic escorts/fords etc, not used to all this electrics stuff, but I got someone to put a tester on my battery, ends up being the battery on its last leggs, which obviously caused the starter motor to not ave enough power to start,hence the clicking sound cause it wanted to go but could,nt got a new battery now so fingers crossed so far so good,but thanks anyway mate...
