I have this constant fear of dying. It is causing many panic and anxiey attacks and I am always in the emergency room. Right now I have a bill of 4,000 dollars that I cannot pay. It is really becoming a serious problem. I cry all the time because I know a phyciatrist won't help. I am attempting to face my fears on my own because I feel like god will take care of me. I really do not know what to do anymore except pray. My fear is so bad I am terrified to sleep at night with the fear that I may not wake up. I am 18 years old and I want to live my life right and have fun. There is no reason why I should have to be afraid. I am engaged to my high school sweetheart whom I have been dating since I was a freshman. He works for goodyear tire company building tires which requires him to work long shifts and night shifts. When he leaves my anxiety gets really bad. I am so confused as to what I should do, medical attention isn't helping, therapy isn't helping, and I'm stuck. I do believe my fear of dying started when my god daughters 17 year old father was shot and killed this year. After his death I have been in constant worry of dying at a young age. I am lost someone please help. :(

The Lord can help you. The spirit of fear is not from God but from the evil one. We are thinking all the time it can
Be good or evil. The Lord said, " I am come that they might have life, and that they
might have it more abundantly". John 10-10 When we keep our mind on God and His
Promises we can have the abundant life. When fear comes in we stop that thought and
Change it to what Gods word says. We all have choices to make and we decide what
We think on. Bad thoughts will come into our mind but it is up to us to think on them
Or change them to good. Get your mind going in the right direction, on God's promises.
Get a book on God's promises and read them over and over and believe it,it is God taking to you. When you feel fear coming in say "The Lord is my shephard....I will
fear no evil"... Remind yourself over and over that God is all powerful and His protection
Is all sufficient for every need. Here are some scriptures to read, read them offen and
When you feel fearful. "For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of
love, and a sound mind." 2 Timonthy 1-7 "Be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind." Romans 12-2 ""Ask, and it shall be given you; seek and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you." Matthew 7-7 "They that wait upon the Lord shall renew thier strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not
be weary; and they shall not faint." Isaiah 40-31 "Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on Thee." Isaiah 26-3 "I sought the Lord, and He heard me, and delivered me from all my fears." Psalm 34-4 Read the word of God and
Believe and know He loves you and will never leave you, or forsake you call on Him!

You need to think of everything as a whole, not just you vs. everything. If you put the weight of the world on your shoulders you will get squashed. You should watch "What the bleep do we know" it's a movie that changed my life. I was pretty depressed for a while after a friend died and I started going to college, I felt unworthy of living because so many good people die all the time. Then I watched this movie and started to think about everything differently. I know have a very positive outlook on life, and am reminded everyday of how the choices and energy in which I choose affect my life.
