I remember some of the movie , so here goes a description.
The movie has a young man who returns from overseas after serving in the war. He drives a harley and ends up in some small town looking for a job and ends up working at an older man's sawmill. The older man was a vet as well, so they get along good and he begins living with the older man and his wife and ends up staying for quite some time. He falls for this man's daughter who is engaged to another guy and is also the manager at the mill. In the movie they take sleigh rides together and end up getting together at the end when they meet at a spot maybe by a river or somewhere special I believe. My wife saw it on TV and liked it and I wanted to get it for her, she couldn't remember the name. It's not very old and it maybe a movie made for TV and may have never been in the theatre's.

I also can tell you that the old guy would remind you of Wilfred Brimley a bit, but didn't have any major stars in it. Even if your not sure and a guess, anything is appreciated because I would like to figure this out and get it for the wife.
