Hi, I'm really worried about my dog. She is a **** zu of 6 years old. She doesn't want to eat nothing lately( ALMOST A WEEK NOW) I always give her chicken, which is (or was) her favorite food. However, she looks active. What is going on with her?

It could be a lot of different things, I would suggest a check up with a vet.

Hi, susy,
I agree with your previous answer; please see your Vet.
It could also be that she doesn't want any more chicken!
I would like to suggest that any type of table food is not good for a dog.
The dry dog food contains all the minerals, nutrients, and vitamins that dog's need. Any type of table food, such as chicken, does not contain these nutrients need by her.
Try feeding her some dry dog food; the amount according to her weight and the suggested number of cups on the dog food package.
Put it down for her in the morning, wait about 30 min, then pick it back up, whether she has eaten it or not. Then, in the evening, put it back down. Don't leave food out all the time.
When you say "she looks active", what do you mean? Do you take her for a brisk 45 min. walk everyday? Dogs need exercise, and if they don't get it, will not get tired, and sometimes will not be hungry.
It's like a human. If you do some work all day, physical work, then you get hungry; more so if not doing anything all day. Dogs are the same. After some good exercise, like brisk walks, they will be more hungry.
I also think the following information would help with your dog:
I highly recommend a video by Ceaser Millan, a Professional Dog Behaviorist. He rehabilitates dogs, and trains people.
He has his own TV program, the Dog Whisperer, on the NGEO (National Geographic) channel, on Friday nights mainly, but also comes on some other days. This video is available from:
http://www.dogpsychologycenter.com/
I also ordered his new book, "Ceaser's Way", from Walmart online, around $15 US, and it's very good!
There are other good videos available on the web, but this one is really worth your attention.
I do wish you the best, and good luck.
