I was trying to get to the bottom of why it is hard to find The Wonder years on DVD (mainly netflix). I was lead to wikipedia and found my answer. I started reading the plot/synopisis of the last episode and it was not like how I remembered!!

I could have SWORN, and I remember it so VIVIDLY that Paul kills himself. I thought he hanged himself. I thought for certain... Am I really just mixed up? I really really thoght he had.

Yes, that's correct, the Wonder Years has not been released on DVD because the show used a lot of original recordings and needs to get clearance on all those songs before the shows can be released.
In the final episode, Paul does not die, he becomes a lawyer. The only one who died was the Dad. The older son took over the business.
I hope this helps.

I loved the wonder years!! I miss that show so much, it seems so long ago the last time I actually sat down and watched it! But vista9 is correct. My high school teacher told us that, but he taped them when they were on TV and we use to watch them in class.
