HI

I have a master degree(2 year) in computer science engineering from an Indian university.

Would I be able to apply for H1 visa under h1 master degree quota?? Or would I be able to apply under both general and master degree quota?

Help me out guys..

Thanks,

Find an employer first... they will be able to tell you if you qualifications fit or not.

According to my info, only US Masters graduate can apply for the quota of 20,000 H1B's. Otherwise graduates from whole world would go for this quota and then this 20,000 will be a pity number.

You can apply for General H1B. Also, every school in the USA has an International students department - you can probably put this question across them through your friends who are studying there. Not sure, if this would help- but worth a try.

Only a U.S. masters degree qualifies for the additional 20,000 visas. Good news is that there are still standard visa numbers open for the current fiscal year 2010. File a basic H now. Good luck, come on in.
