How would I be able to right out this equation full. With step by step changes?

5-2bc=p+q (Find c)... What do I do to the 5?

What is 5-5? Answer 0. So as a start subtract 5 from both sides.

What you need to do to get 'c', you must modify the equation so as to do the 'opposite' in a way. With the 5, like colbtech said, subtract it from both sides.

When there is addition, subtract. (here it is "+5", so subtract 5)
When there is subtraction, add.
When there is multiplication, divide.
Finally, when there is division, multiply.
