I have a Compaq Presario F553CL Notebook. My wireless quit working not sure if it is a driver issue or the internal wifi went out or other, can someone please help me!

Are you sure you didn't turn it off? Laptops generally have a switch that turns the wireless on and off.

First thing to do is to check if your wireless adapter is still properly installed under device manager.
Do this :
Go to device manager and check if you will see there your wireless adapter , it will tel you something like wireless device , if you see it there just right click on it then go to properties and you will see it there if its working properly , if its not there that a problem and you may need to reload the software for that wireless adapter...
