My hunter ceiling fan switch broke. I bought a new 3 way switch but don't know how the wires go since the swith has 3 wires and the fan has 4. Can someone please help me. Thank you:confused:

You probably have the wrong switch. It turns out that replacing ceiling fan switches is a lot more complicated than I ever thought it would be.

You need to order the correct pullchain from Hunter Fan (http://www.hunterfan.com)

MAKE SURE you make note of what wires connect where on the old switch. See:
