We were away 10 days in the summer and our fridge was accidentally unplugged!
All the food rotted/melted in the freezer and fridge sections. It was awful.
I have washed it over and over again with-
Javex Bleach
Copious amounts of baking soda inluding some standing in the fridge at all times
vinegar
Lysol
And various cleaning sprays. The smell will not go away. Someone told me it may be in the insulation of the fridge?? Can this be fixed/cleaned or is it time for a new one?

When this happened to me we used open trays of that kiddie litter that removes odors - but it wasn't as bad as you have described.

I'll refer you here:

The insulation won't get wet.

Thank you I have aleady done what you suggested for the Urine Odor. Removed the tray washed it washed the entire ouside of the fridge front and back but...
I am sorry what do you mean "the insulation wont get wet" Do you mean the mess wouldn't have leaked into the insulation?

There really isn't a way for the insulation to get wet.
