I am building a home. It has a 2 sided fireplace. Where is the correct place to have the flue up the center or on a side for proper drafting>?

Up the center, a flue on the side would not vent properly

By two sided fireplace, do you mean a fireplace open on both sides or two fire places back to back in different rooms? Are we talking masonary or prefab?
