Hello there, today is day 63 of my pug being pregnant & I have not seen any signs of her giving birth yet, should I be concerned?? Maybe call the vet.

Yes, you are right, 63 days is normal gestation period, but like us, can go over or under, but I would be on the safe side and take her in for a check up at the vet. Good luck

I would call the vet if her temperature has dropped below 98.6. Sometimes when the temperature drops it can be anywhere from 12-48 hours. Some dogs won't deliver until day 68. I'd be concerned if her temperature dropped, she shows signs of labor being near (nesting, restlessness, grunting, not eating/drinking etc) and labor doesn't start within 24 hours, then call the vet.

If her temperature is still normal and hasn't dropped, she's acting normal, I wouldn't worry. Give it a couple more days.

I know what your going through. My dog just gave birth this past Saturday (day 63) and we spent most of the pregnancy wondering if there were actually puppies or not. Then after day 59 we were on our toes watching every move she did. Then the moment I thought she was having a false pregnancy, her temp dropped to 98.2 and 10 hours later her first puppy was born. Look for that temp drop. If you haven't been taking her temperature, start now andt ake it twice a day. Normal temp is 99-101
