OK here's my problem. I have been on birth control (the pill) for almost 2 years now. Well, I first got my period when I was 13 years old. Never, EVER and I do mean EVER have I been early with it. Late yeah, but never early. So I am currently on the pill Lutera and I take it like I'm supposed to but I start my period about a week and a half early... it came yesterday at work. Well, here's the deal. It's almost non-existent today. Barely even pink when I peem even though I had all the cramps of a normal period before it came, the bleeding is definitely not normal. Anyway my question is... My husband and I had sex about 2 weeks ago and he came inside me which we don't normally do... even though I'm on the pill, could I still be pregnant? I mean, I know it's possible, but is it probable? Thanks for your answers in advance.

It sounds odd however birthcontroll is not 100% effective... and does not work when on any form of antibiotics... if your on them it would be wise to have a check... and sonograms are not so exspensive

It is possible, although the pill is generally quite effective. Take an at home test or see your doctor to be certain. Stress too can sometimes alter your period.

Some women will have breakthrough bleeding while in the pill, could be from that. Pregnancy is possible, but odds are low since you have been taking it correctly. Did you say it was slightly pink when you pee? Any possibility of a bladder infection or is it not with your urine?

Well, it seems as if I have just started my period early. I did start to bleed regular... as in, the bleeding I regularly have during my period... the only problem is, I usually bleed heavy on my second day, well this time it was my third day. IT's just weird because I have never started early ever. I had read that after a few years on the pill that some women can experience an irregular period. I am no longer worried about pregnancy... just about why I started early. And no, I am not on any medication. I did however start taking vitamins recently.
