I have been dating my boyfriend now for almost 2 years, and I love him very much. I recently went to school out of state, and I can't stand being away from him so much. We talk everyday but I still miss him so much. Does anyone have any advice on how to take my mind off him at least a little.

Are you involved in any activities that are extracurricular or that don't involve school that might interest you? If you aren't then joining in on some other activities might help.

I can also understand, that if you are in a new place, that maybe you haven't developed all that many friends where you are now, and that making some new friends and keeping busy with them might also help.

You did say that you recently went to school out of state. Would that be to a college or university?

Wow, kid, don't even stress about it. My fiancé and I have been together for almost 2 years now, and I've known him for over 3.
2 months after we started dating, he left for bootcamp (which lasts 3 months) our only contact was letters. After that I saw him for 10 days, he left for another 9 months and I talked to him 2 times a week on the phone, even right now he lives out of state 2 hours away, and I'm only able to see him on the weekend if he has enough money, and a ride to get him here.

You can't stop missing him all together, but you can try to keep your mind on other things. Hang out with other friends, do your work or your school, work towards your own goals, and talk to him when he calls. Call, text, or email other people in your free time.

I did, I told you that it's nothing to stress about, showed you that things could be worse from my experience and then gave advice to help you out.

Busy, busy, busy, busy, busy, busy, busy, busy, busy, busy, busy, busy...

Repeat. That's the only possible path.
