I remember an early 90s TV show that was on TBS or TNT or something like that. It was very possibly on in the after school slot, or maybe I just saw it every time I stayed home sick from school.
So the show had this liquid metallic (quicksilver, possibly) space ship, who's hull opened up into 5 or 6 levitating liquid metal steps. The space ship could talk, much like HAL, and the rider of this ship and the protagonist of the show was this young teenage boy. He'd always get into adventures with this ship, and when he would fly, they had the most amazing flight sequences ever!
The problem is I have no recollection whatsoever what the name/title of this show is! It's gotten on my nerves and can't let it go now. And I know I'm not just imagining this, because my soccer teammate here at (Oberlin) College is from Portland, and he remembers the show too!
Any ideas anyone?
Thanks!
