I am currently using a Uniden dual hand set 5.8 GHz phone. The second hand set is approximately twenty feet from the base handset and the signal must pass through a masonry wall. It doesn´t! Which of the following wireless technologies/frequencies would be most effective at passing through brick walls:

Technology:

DECT
DSS
Analog

Frequency:

1.9 GHz
5.8 GHz
5.8/2.4 GHz
2.4 GHz
5.8 GHz/900 MHz

Thank you.

Any DECT system will accomplish this perfectly unless there is something very odd with your wall your current system should also.

What are the limitations then of the DECT system regarding structure/material? I´m actually asking the signal to pass through two brick walls, one lined with ceramic tile... as the crow flies.
