I have a feral community of cats and had everyone of them fixed, but TNR program
Is Trap, Neuter and Release, so they come back to me and I continue to feed them.
They have been using my neighbors garden as a bathroom in some instances and
I would like to tell him what to plan to keep the cats away, without causing them to
Be ill... or destroying whatever it is he has in his garden.

Hi, jammy23!

I don't really like to refer someone to another site, however, there is enough information that can be found via clicking on the following link, that I didn't want to copy and paste anything. I hope that what you find there is helpful to you.

How to Keep Cats Away From Yards | Cat Repellents (http://landscaping.about.com/od/pestcontrol/a/cat_repellents.htm)

Thanks!

Try hot pepper spray around your property. Reapply it after it rains. And, always follow the directions on the label. You may even spray it on your plants and planting bed without harm.

Thank you all for your suggestions... the only
Negative suggestions is using things like red
Pepper... and other burning substances because cats touch them, and eventually clean themselves touching their eyes and I've learned they literatally scratch their eyes
Continuously and do severe and permanent damage. I couldn't get lemon balm at HD but I got blood meal and I told the neighbor if that doesn't work, I will order the lemon balm online. Again, thank you all for your input.

Actually the red pepper will repell the cats who will smell it upon approaching yor poperty. They will not want to get near it.

I've gotten enough emails to say they literally
Scratch their eyes out... that these harsh
Sprays do effect them terribly. Why take the
Chance.

Hello
If you have rose bushes , place the cuttings on the ground in the gardens etc.
Cats and other animals will stay away
