The plumber put a camera down the pipe and we could see half of a broken brass nut the last owner dropped in the main sewer pipe. He said I need to bust the floor out to get it. Anyone know of a grabbing tool I can use? Any other ideas. Tried pushing it out the other side bust it gets stuck.

You don't give us much to go on do you? How big is the nut? Where is it in the pipe? In the house or out in the sewer to the street. Why can't it be pushed, 1) out in th street? 2) or if it's in the house back from the cleanout? Have you considered jetting it out of the line under high pressure? Let's have some details here! Fill up tub full of water and drain it. Repeat it as many times as needed to move the nut down to the city sewer. Also, you plumber could have push it down the slope with his camera.

It seems to me like a rip off to suggest your floor should be busted just to remove 1/2 of brass nut.
