I would seriously call a pest control company to come out and have a consultation with you.

No need for a company if you can get to any hardware store or home center. Terro and others makes ant bait that the little guys take back to their nest killing the queen. ACE carries several brands. Ant Problem? Terro = Ant Control Solutions (http://www.terro.com/shop.php) I don't work for them or have any connection but I have used their stuff many times, outdoors too.

Observe the ants pattern to find where they are entering. Ants leave a chemical trail along routes they travel. If you find their path wash it down with soap and water to throw them off the sent. Then mix some sugar with boric acid and spread it along the trail or where you suspect they are entering. They will be attracted to the sugar and eat the mixture and die. Some ants may even eat the dead ant and ingest the same poison.

I have been told that grits spread a little distance from the nest will be eaten by them and kill the entire nest, but I have not personally used this method. I do know that some ants are very suspicious of changes to the environment around their nest and if you spread the grits or anything to close they will perceive it as a threat. They will remove it from its place, even if it is edible they will not eat it. This is why the grits should not be as close as a foot or foot and a half from the nest.
