Hi
My name is kiki

I have been in uk since 1999,come from liberia,I applied for assylum seekers and

Homeoffice gave me exceptional leave to remain 4 years. After that I applied for

Indefinate leave to remain and I was given another 4 years on exceptional leave to

Remain. They stated that while I'm on leave to remain ,my application is being reviewed

And in ten month of receipt ,I should here from them. However,I did not here from them

Time is ticking. My visa will expire next year 2009.

I received a letter recently from homeoffice, that says ,all old applications should be resolved by 2011. I don't understand why its taking so long. My mother and I came together from abroad and she had her indefinate 2 years ago. I cannot travel anywhere and its been very difficult.I wish the home office can give me a decision earlier than 2011. Any advice is appreciated!

What should I do that can help my application ? Do I have to be in a professional job to be a resident?

Or Do I have to study fulltime course ?

You might be ineligibility on certain issue... not sure as I don't have your personal info. If you don't have criminal record, the only issue might be your income. You must not become public charge... in plain word, don't get welfare. You must have income, and have proof of paying income tax.
