Hello my husband and I are currently residents of CA. In Feb he and I decided to move to OR and we told his probation officer and he started to transfer paperwork. The one mistake we made was paying almost 2,000 dollars for the move and believing his po when he said it would take 45 days. Six months later and we are still here and everything we own in OR. According to his PO they haven't made a decision and the interstate compact actually messed up the paperwork twice so far but when we call OR they have nothing on him not even a pending. We can't get a straight answer out of anyone for how long so does anyone else out there have an idea of how long?

Go read the sticky at the top of the criminal page about transferring probation. There is something that you apparently didn't do properly that Oregon hasn't a clue who your husband is. Just relying on California to do all the paperwork was a step in the wrong direction though. Too bad you didn't wait until you got the green light before you shipped all your stuff up there.
