My last regular period was on March 16th. I got what I thought might have been a period on April 21st. I am regular with a 28 day cycle. This one was very different, it was late and was very very light, only lasted 2-4 days.
My breasts began to swell and become very tender about 2 1/2 weeks ago and the veins in my breats are popping out more than usual. I have gained about 5 pounds. I have been feeling sick and vomitting. Both of which are out of character for me. I haven't been able to keep anything down except for chocolate! I am getting headaches all day everyday and am so tired. I've noticed that my lower abdomen is getting hard.
I took a pregnancy test last week and it said negative. Could I be pregnant, should I take a blood test?

I would first off take a home pregnancy test and see what the results are...even if they come back negative and these symptoms continue I would go to the doctor!! I hope everything turns out the way you want it to!!

It is possible that you are pregnant. Are you trying to get pregnant, and what birth control are you on, if you are on it. Also if you are really wanting to be pregnant, it is possible that your mind is tricking your body into thinking that you are. I have done that to myself a LOT in the past as well. I would wait a week, and take one more test. If you are still concerned and or your symptoms get worse before or after that, definitely go see your doctor. Seeing your doctor is ALWAYS the best idea when you have concerns. Hope everything works out the way you want it to, and hope you are doing well. Let us know what happens.

And remember to take the HPT with your FIRST morning urine... this is when the pregnancy hormone level is at its highest.
