Hi Everyone,

My Situation:
I copied some files from my friend's system to my USB and copied these to my system.
When I opened one folder named "Setup" I found a file called setup.exe in that folder. I double clicked in that file. Nothing happened.
Problem:
After this incident. Whenever I open any folders in my system, a new exe file "Foldername".exe is created in that folder.

It will be very helpful if you provide a solution to completely fix this problem.

Pleas contact to me and send your solution as soon as with email address : [email protected]

Thanks and Regards,
Tran Manh Ha VietinBank

This entire question is a verbatim post from another website and the question is over 2 years old. Why would you do that instead of posting your own question?

Anyway, since you're using the text from that post to post YOUR question, I'll post that thread as a link for solutions.

Weird.

"Foldername".exe is created in each folder which I open : virus, folder, name (http://www.experts-exchange.com/Security/Operating_Systems_Security/Windows/Q_21936315.html)

Dear JBeaucaire !

My Antivirus System are using TrendMicro Officescan for Enterprise. At the momment, some branches of my VietinBank(Viet Nam Industry and Trade Bank) are attacked by virus "FolderName" .exe.

My TrendMicro Officescan can not detect, prevent, and kill that virus. I have used SIC tool of TrendMicro to get Log Virus and sent to Asia Support of TrendMicro and wait a solution from them.

In VietNam, BKAV can detect that virus as W32.EruKK.worm but I don't think BKAV's Solution is a pecfect solution. So, if you have a solution, please send it to me as soon as you possible.

Thank you so much!

Your Sincerely!
Tran Manh Ha Vietinbank

I use AVG from Grisoft. I use the Pro version because of the additional levels of addon security including RootKit protection.

AVG Free - Download installation files & documentation (http://free.avg.com/ww.download?prd=afe)
