I have had rectal bleeding for about a year now. But not that much. Seems like once every one or two months I have some blood in the stool for about 2 days in a row then that's it. I went to the doctor almost a year ago about this and he gave me some waxy pills to insert in my butt for a few weeks and it was gone for about 6 months and now its back. He said it most likely wasn't anything serious, and a colonoscopy would only diagnose not treat me so he gave me those pills. He said it is proly just a phisher or something. Told me to stay away from spicy foods because some people are sensitive to that. Today I had a lot of blood in the stool, I would watch it drip. I don't know what to do because I already went to the doctor once and since its not happening that often he just says its nothing serious

I would go with your gut, I know a colonoscopy is uncomfortable, but it would give you your piece of mind. I would also get a second opinion.
