I have a riding lawn mower with no identification other than 9-3656x92 and manufacture date of 9094. Probably an mtd or murray but I'm not sure..

Did you search it's every nook and cranny for a plate that IDs it?

I gave it a shot with Yahoo and Google thinking I could find parts or other references to it but found no talk of mowers with any combination of those parts of a model #. Of course that number may or may not even be the actual model number.

I'd take a pic of the mower, along with that number, to a local supplier to see if they recognize what manufacturer uses that configuration for a model number.

... and wouldn't hurt to post a pic here, too, if you've got a digital camera or scanner.
