 I do not think this is my topic but I've done business with Guaranteed Consumer Funding for about one year now I paid about over $700. Into this computer and never received it they told me to make 3 bi weekly payments and I'll receive my computer in three weeks that never happen. They will not give me my money back they have put my family and I through so much grief I had to close my bank account even since they had my account information. What should I do should I take them to court and sue for more than what is owed to me? I can not let them get away with this and steal from us they are doing this same thin to others across the world but of course sites will not give out email addresses even if they give permishion to. Please help!

As I understand GCF states that they offer options for people with no credit - you make payments, they report them to the credit bureaus to increase your score and eventually you own the merchandise. It is advertised as lay-away company and there is a lot of very vague language on their site so it will come down to your contract with them.

Their prices are truly shocking so you pay for the "luxury" of dealing with them. I looked quickly but didn't see a computer for less than $1,500.

What do your documents say about the total cost of the computer? How much of that amount have you paid? What kind of grief have they put you through?

Their website says you will not get your merchandise until it is 100% paid for so a lot will depend - as I asked - on the contract and payments.

You cannot sue for mental anguish or pain and suffering in a contract matter - and this is a contact matter. You CAN sue for your money back if they violated the contract but you would have to sue in Small Claims Court where they are, not where you are.
