I am currently staying at home with my parents and I would like to get emancipated. My parents both physically and mentally abuse me and I feel I am old enough to live on my own and not be treated this way. I am currently not working but will get a job right now if needed. What I would like to do is get my GED and get emancipated. I have plenty of friends who are of the legal age who could stay with no problem until I could afford a place for myself. I have been kicked out of one school and I am currently enrolled in an alternative school. I just don't think I'm made out for high school. I want to get emancipated and live away from my parents. I would get a full time job and have a place to stay without any difficulty. Do you think I can get emancipated?

Doubtful. You first have to have a job that will support you including rent (staying with friends isn't allowed for emancipation), utilities, and food. You also have to have proof of that place to live and many landlords won't rent to a minor (with good reason). You also have to show along with this how you will finish not drop out even with intent to get a GED. How far are you from turning 18 and what state are you in? If you really feel that you are abused you need to talk to your school counselor.

Absolutely correct - you don't need to show that you will GET a job and make sufficient money to support yourself in a live alone situation. You need to HAVE a job for a period and show you are self supporting.
If you are abused, then you have to report your parents to the authorities.
There is always the possibility that your parents want you out of the house and will have you declared a person in need of supervision. If that happens, the Court conducts a hearing and you are on your own.
