Hi I'm 19yr old male and very confused about a girl she's 18yrs old, I've been talking to her over the net for the last month, she only lives like 2 miles from where I live, I just don't know what to do because I asked her out and she said yes but its like she's not interested in me, its like I'm doing all the chasing, plus she text me last night saying that she has last interest with boys because all they do is upset her help!! I really like her and she really likes me but I get mixed signals, I don't know what I can do.

Of course you are confused. Who wouldn't be if you haven't met her. Nothing can be determined on line. Its all talk.

I talked to a girl online, casually on and off for a good 5 years.. we played tug of war in the "finaly meeting up" category.. we finally did, fell in love, then broke up.
The other 2000 girls I've spoken to online(I promote my music online a lot so I get a lot of female interaction)-ended up being nothing.. even after we met..
Morale of the story - don't "fall in love" before you even meet her..
Oh - and another story that's fitting, I saw a girl once while I was out.. ended up talking online eventually, just after she went to uni.. we talked for a long time, could go as far as saying we both "fell in love".. I was in the army at the time, I took a large percentage of my army leave, and splashed out all my cash - borrowed some from parents also.. and took off to go meet with her.. first couple of days were exciting - then all we did was argue.
We're good friends now, but it just didn't work.
Online and real life is not the same at all.

My thought was, your not the only guy she is talking to.

I respect people's opinion about chat etc. Chat is only oone way of meeting people and a lot meet up (including one friend of mine) thinking their story is a romantic movie and acting like a moron.
I have been vocal that I met my BF on the net, (by the way Im not a chat addict) I do it so rarely and famous line to him "I will never hook up to someone older than my father."
My conclusion, you haven't done enough yet to woe her. Like men, women has apprehensions too about meeting up. Like men are just meeting up just to get a free sex, being raped, gang raped, drugged, sold etc
My advise since you're just drive away, make her feel you are trusted then let's go from there. Give it a time then give up when you have to.

Straight up... online relationships are sketchy... that is until you see the person and get a real feel for their personality.
Be optimistic and keep talking to her but take it easy give her some attention then take it away, this will make her curious about why you aren't paying so much attention to her and so on which would make her try to get your attention back.
If it's meant to be it will be, if it isn't it won't. It's that simple. My advice would be to not get too attached to this girl because chances you are not the only guy who she talks to.
Good luck :)

Online chat is just fantasy in most cases , you just make the person out to be what you want.
I'm not saying it CAN'T work but most times I would doubt so.

I totally understand what you guys are saying. I talked to a bunch of guys online then out of nowhere I met my husband... online. We talked online for a while before we met up one night after work and even then we talked for almost 4 hours straight. It can work out, but a good percentage of the time it doesn't.
