I have a somewhat strange question regarding the internet. I work for an elementary school in which they asked me to find a online tool to keep track of where their alumni are nowadays. I'm not sure if there is such a website or service on the internet that if you enter a person's name and where they are from, contact information will be displayed.

Any thoughts?

Here's a couple
Find a Friend - High School Military College Class Reunions (http://www.classmates.com/)

This site is free as far as I can tell - but can get more info if sign up
Find Classmates, Alumni and High School Friends | Reunion.com (http://affiliates.reunion.com/a/landa/s-wsfy.asp?s_kwcid=classmates)

Are you looking for an existing site that contains alumni information? Seahwk83's suggestions work for high school graduates, but I don't think they provide an elementary school option (I'm behind a firewall right now so can't check them for you).

If on the other hand you're interested in software the school can provide on its website for alumni to register their info, there are several scripts available at hotscripts.com.

Ways to find people are Classmates.com, Facebook, MySpace, Whitepages.com Once you begin to find people, they will be able to direct you to other people. Then you can start your own website or have a page on your school's existing website.
