Can a employee go back 6 months to take pay out of salary? Is that legal?

Can a employer do that and not say anything for a year?

Can you rephrase this and tell us exactly what happened. As it stands this makes no sense.

Hello r:

Your boss can't take ANYTHING out of your paycheck that you haven't agreed to. It's not HIS money.

If he did, demand it back or you'll sue him. That is, of course, unless you want to KEEP your job. But, I don't know why you'd want to work where they just take your money.

I would think it would depend on why they are doing it. If they suddenly realize that they hadn't been deducting taxes appropriately, for example, then I would expect them to do something about it. But to just suddenly decide to deduct money is a bit odd.
