Some have the diagram under the footrests. Maybe sears.com?

Sears Tractors usually have a decal on the mower deck showing the diagram for the blade belt. This link is my stock answer for almost any tractor. https://www.askmehelpdesk.com/tools-power-equipment/mtd-riding-lawnmowere-belt-diagram-137312.html You can go to Parts & Accessories | Shop & Find Lawn & Garden, Appliance Parts at Sears Parts Direct | SearsPartsDirect.com from Sears (http://www.searspartsdirect.com/partsdirect/index.action) and get a manual if you have your model number handy.

Hi,
The answer with the Sears site was correct. Get that 917.xxxxxx number and it is there for you!

searpartsdirect.com (http://www.searpartsdirect.com/)

Just paste that into the browser and put in the model number in the box on the right (look under the seat first, and the period after 917 is important)
Peace,
