The movie took place in an almost ?desert ? Setting. There were strange small ?fuzzy? Craetures invading the town. I remember some type of restaurant or ?ice cream shop? And a house being the main setting of the movie. The main scene in my memory is scuffy, skinny, blonde, hippie boy putting on ginormus headphones jamming out to Truckin by the Grateful Dead just before he was attacked by the little creature. He was kind of the dog that got kicked in the movie. His mom was the preverbial tammy faye baker with clothes too tight and too much makeup. I think she even had a little dog too. LOL. Please help. I can never watch it again if I don't know the name.
