Someone posted that their floppy drive was recognized but when trying to use, it says to insert floppy. I have the same problem and it was suggested to "remove CMOS jumper pin from Motherboard. I've never done this. Can someone please tell me where this is located or where an image might be available to help me find it correctly?

Each motherboard has different setting. You will first need to know your motherboard model and go to the mf website to download the manual. The manual will shows you the location of the jumper pin.

Look around your battery area on motherboard... grab a magnifying glass if you have one.. its labeled CMOS.. I've got the same issue here but never thought of that as a solution... will try also.. thanks for the idea

Some motherboards might simply not have a jumper pin. In this case you have to remove the battery for 5-10 minutes to reset the CMOS memory.
