My boyfriend has court tomorrow. He has been in county jail for 6 days now for driving on a suspended license which violated his probation. I paid off 900 for his fine after he was arrested Wednesday and got the lady we have been doing community service for to write off the 10 hours he has already done. I dropped it off by the probation office today and he said he would recommend that he gets out tomorrow and will extend his probation period. The judge, from what I've seen, is pretty leniant and nice. I know it really depends on the judge but do they normally accept the probation officers reccomendation without adding on anything?

Thanks in advance. I don't want to get my hopes up for tomorrow, but it would really break my heart if he had to go back to jail even for a few more days.:(

Some judges listen to the PO and take their recommendations into their determinations. I hope your friend's judge does this.

Many do, it will depend on the working relationship they have, or how their word has been trusted.
