I am on a flow well and was having low water pressure and air spitting from pipes. The points were bad on pump motor. Replaced motor and primed tank and am still having low water pressure and spitting. Could I have a leak in a pipe and sucking in air? Or is gage set wrong? ( is set for 50 psi)

The gauge is not "set" at all. Pressure is controlled by the switch. Do you have 50# of pressure read at the gauge? If so, then pressure is not your problem.

I'm not real familiar with a "flow well", but I think it is basically a shallow well arrangement... jet pump pulling from one pipe. In that case you very likely do have a leak in the suction pipe. The good news is that you probably do not have much pipe below ground (or in a spring/stream?? ) and can probably pull it and check it out w/o a ton of trouble.

What is you pump cut-in and cut-out settings?
What is the pressure reading on the tank. Did you properly charge you tank to match you pump settings?

The experts should have set the pressure switch, and the bladder tank correctly when they replaced the pump. If you ever have other work done, try another expert!

Harold is on track. It sounds like you need to adjust your bladder tank pressure and your pressure switch.
